LEXSY Puro is a nucleoside antibiotic used for the selection of recombinant Leishmania strains. It can also be used for the selection of other recombinant organisms expressing the puro marker gene (puromycin N-acetyltransferase from Streptomyces alboniger).
Selection:
For selection of recombinant Leishmania strains LEXSY Puro is added to the growth medium to a final concentration of 10 μg/ml.
